I have been really impressed with this knife from the extremely useful blade shape to the incredibly fun action! It’s an all around great value for contoured g10 scales, 14c28n, and the star of the show the Snecx style lock! Thank you Tactis and I’m excited to check out your future products!

So, Tactis is a new company, and the frontier is their first knife model offered.
For a first knife, I'm absolutely blown away, but have some constructive feedback to offer.
The amazing: This knifes action is ridiculously good. It's on bearings with a superlock/sharklock type design, with smooth lock actuation, positive and solid lockup with no blade play in any direction. The blade geometry is good, and the steel choice is good for a more affordable knife.
The handle material and construction is great, with full g10 and steel liners and absolutely GORGEOUS deep purple anodized aluminum backspace and thumb stud. Seriously it's the perfect purple!

The meh: the handle overall outline is a little big and bulkier than it needs to be, leading it to fill the hand but not be a truly versatile cutting tool, heavily favoring a hammer grip. I'd love to see them slim the handle and blade stock down, and try to get a better blade to handle ratio closer to 1:1

The bad: the pocket clip is a serious hotspot and needed removed immediately. The sharp corners where it's bent dug into my hands and made use painful. The idea of having it sandwiched between the liner and scale is fantastic however.

TLDR, best action of any knife sub $100, great lock and awesome purple color on anodized parts, handle is thicker than ideal, and clip needs revision, 7.9/10

I like their mission statement and bought this to support a small startup company but wasn’t expecting much. I am absolutely shocked at how nice the quality of this knife is. I know larger companies can make a budget knife feel good but I would have never in a million years expected it from such a small young company. It’s very sturdy, came sharper than most factory blades, looks great, has buttery smooth action, solid deep carry clip, and their take on the Demko shark lock is spot on. If i had to be picky, I would have liked to see some jimping on the spine but overall I’m more than happy with my purchase and I look forward to future releases!

Handle is bulky but tolerable, however, the super lock was not done well. It is loose both side to side and spring tension and the knife actually feels dangerous because the lock is way to easy to disengage. Will return.

Great EDC knife, but it is a little heavy in weight.

Knife feels great and works well. Love the locking system. Only cimplaint is weight could have milled out the liners made it lighter but over all feels great works well.

For the price this is a very nice knife fit and finish are very good and overall pleased with my purchase

Fantastic knife, action is super smooth and lock up is solid. The design is sweet, and I was overall really impressed since the knife is affordable but feels quite premium. Also, as great as the knife is, Tactis has even better customer service! Really impressed with how they treat their customers, incredibly fast response and they immediately resolved the issue. Would recommend without hesitation.

Snecx superlock. Just received the knife and i can tell you its excellen.the handle design is comfortable and has a great textured feel. I like the weight. The action is perfect with very satisfying acoustics. Polished and sharp. Very nice purple accent thumb stud and back spacer. Worth every penny.

The Frontier is a great knife. Smooth action and amazing texture on the scales. The weight is perfect for me because I like heafty knives. Wish the clip had a stronger detent though. Would love some jimping on the blade stock.

Amazing knife for the money. Very smooth and sharp. I gave 4 stars because there are some improvements that could be made. I hope they wouldn't affect the price but I would pay more. The liners are heavy and need weight reduction. Pocket clip needs to be bent so it can go in the pocket better. The cutting edge goes all the way to the plunge grind. I don't mind the t6 hardware. If these changes were made, it would be perfect. Thanks!

I prefer a flipper but the action on this knife is awesome. Value at this price is great!
