Tactis was born in Colorado in 2024 from a simple idea: design knives and everyday carry (EDC) gear that works as hard as you do. We’re a small team of designers and outdoor enthusiasts who believe high-performance gear shouldn’t come with a luxury price tag.

Our Process & Transparency

We believe in being upfront about how we work. Every Tactis product is concepted, sketched, and prototyped in Colorado. To bring those designs to life at an accessible price point, we partner with premium manufacturing facilities in China. By combining American design and engineering with world-class Chinese production, we are able to offer high-end materials—like 14C28N steel and Carbon Fiber—without the markup.

We create tools for the real world. Whether it’s a pocket knife for daily tasks or gear that survives the weekend trail, every product starts with one question: “Would we trust this?” We obsess over the details—from the "fidget-factor" of our button compression locks to the ergonomics of our handles—so you don't have to.
