When I started sketching the Strike, I wasn't trying to make a showpiece. I wanted a tool that could live in your pocket for a dozen different reasons—daily tasks, outdoor work, or a discreet EDC option—without looking like "tactical" overkill. It had to be a silent partner that performs when it’s actually needed.
Discreet Silhouette, Dagger Soul
The most striking thing about this knife is the blade. It isn't your typical drop-point or Tanto EDC shape. It’s a unique, symmetrical silhouette that pulls inspiration from a dagger. This gives you a needle-thin tip for precision work and EDC utility, but we tuned the belly of the blade to make sure it still slices through boxes and rope like a workhorse. It’s thin, it’s fast, and it carries incredibly deep in the pocket.
The Lock: Button-Actuated Strength
Safety is everything, especially in a high-stress scenario. The Strike uses a button-actuated liner lock, which I consider one of the strongest setups on the market. By moving the release to a button on the frame, you get that snappy, fidget-friendly action we all love, but with the structural "vault-door" lockup of a heavy liner. Your fingers never cross the path of the edge when closing it. It’s simple, mechanical, and built to take a beating.
14C28N: The King of the Elements
I chose Sandvik 14C28N because it’s the undisputed king of budget blades. If you're taking a knife into the field or working in wet environments, you need two things: corrosion resistance and toughness. This steel is incredibly stable in high-moisture areas and doesn't chip easily when the work gets rough. It stays sharp when you're out in the elements, and it’s easy to touch up once the job is done.
The Inspiration: Standing on the Shoulders of Makers and Designers
This knife wouldn't be what it is without the contributors who shared their insights and pushed the design to be better.
